Overall Summary: The Director of Data Science leads the data science team in delivering advanced analytics solutions that drive strategic decision-making and optimize marketing performance for clients. This role actively contributes to complex analytic projects and provides technical expertise, leadership, and business acumen to define the vision for data science initiatives, ensure best practices, and foster innovation. The Director will serve as a key liaison between analytics, sales, account teams, leadership, and clients to align data-driven insights with business objectives Supervisory Responsibilities: This role oversees and leads the Data Science team. Primary Duties/Responsibilities: * Define team goals, priorities, and resource allocation aligned with business objectives. * Contribute to advanced analytics projects, including modeling, segmentation, and predictive analysis. * Provide thought leadership on emerging data science methodologies and tools. * Partner with internal stakeholders to define analytic strategies that support client and organizational goals * Collaborate with internal sales and account teams to understand client objectives and translate them into analytic solutions. * Present complex findings in a clear, actionable manner to non-technical audiences. * Influence marketing strategies through data-driven recommendations. * Ensure adherence to best practices for data security, project management, and analytic delivery. * Oversee quality assurance for all analytic outputs and ensure timely delivery. * Drive continuous improvement in processes, tools, and methodologies * Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure seamless communication and collaboration across teams. * Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance culture. * Perform constructive and timely performance evaluations. * Coach and develop direct reports. Required Skills/Abilities/Competencies: * Strong business acumen with the ability to align analytics initiatives to strategic objectives. * Expertise in advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, and optimization techniques. * Proficiency in SQL, Python, and experience with tools such as Tableau and Snowflake. * Exceptional communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Demonstrate flexibility and accountability. * Strong attention to detail. * Strong leadership skills, with experience coaching and developing team to success. Education and Experience: * Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, mathematics, economics, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. * 7+ years of experience in data science or analytics, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. * Experience in relationship building and leading teams. * Demonstrated experience in marketing analytics and multi-channel campaign optimization. * Experience in multivariate statistics; for example, multiple regression, logit, survival data analysis, experimental test design and optimization techniques. Physical Requirements: * Ability to work 8 hours consecutively. * Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. * Occasional travel as required. Salary: At IWCO, base pay is determined by job-related knowledge, skills, credentials, and experience, along with factors such as role scope and location.
