Business Development DSV - Global transport and logistics Location: Torrance, CA Division: Road US Summary The DSV Road Business Development Manager is responsible for driving new business growth by identifying, developing, and securing domestic transportation solutions for medium to large, high-volume customers. This role is success-driven and customer-focused, with accountability for developing value propositions, managing the internal bid process, building strong stakeholder relationships, and leading negotiations through deal closure. The incumbent partners closely with internal sales, operations, and leadership teams to deliver scalable, profitable solutions aligned with corporate objectives. Physical Demands This role requires the ability to perform standard office-based activities, including prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and working at a computer. Work Environment The Business Development Manager works in a professional office environment with frequent interaction across internal teams and external customers. The role involves regular travel to client locations and meetings, as business needs require. Work is primarily performed indoors, with standard office equipment and technology, and may involve flexible hours to accommodate customer and business demands. For this position, the expected base pay range is $78,000 - $98,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including relevant experience, skills, education or certifications, and geographic location, consistent with applicable laws and company policy.
