Position Summary

The Plant Training Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, tracking, and supporting employee training within the manufacturing plant. This role ensures employees are properly trained on safety, quality, production processes, and compliance requirements to support plant performance and continuous improvement.

Essential Functions

  • Support new hire onboarding and orientation
  • Schedule and track required training (safety, quality, job skills, compliance)
  • Maintain training records and skills matrices
  • Support cross-training and job qualification programs
  • Work with supervisors to identify training needs
  • Assist with development and updates of training materials
  • Support audits by providing training documentation
  • Track training metrics and report status to leadership
  • Perform process audits

Qualifications Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required (associate's degree preferred)
  • 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, training systems)

  • Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization

Physical Demands: While performing the essential functions of this job, the associate will be required to walk, talk, or hear. Will be required to stand, sit, and reach with both hands and arms. The employee will occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Normal weight to be lifted or moved is between 0 and 15 pounds.

While performing the essential functions of this of this job the associate could be exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
