Job Summary The Foreman plays a critical leadership role in supporting the successful delivery of network infrastructure and cabling projects within a new construction data center environment. This position oversees daily field operations, ensures productivity, quality, and safety standards are met, and acts as a key liaison between project management, field teams, and other trade partners. The Foreman is responsible for coordinating labor, tracking progress, supporting team development, and maintaining alignment with customer and project requirements. Job Responsibilities

Report directly to the onsite Project Manager and support project execution based on established schedules and directives.

Coordinate daily activities with field leads and capture weekly progress updates for submission to project management.

Attend recurring project meetings and contribute to schedule alignment and issue resolution.

Oversee milestone completion, productivity tracking, and adherence to project timelines.

Manage and control labor resources across assigned projects and multiple crews.

Coordinate with Field Engineers and other trade contractors to ensure efficient execution of work.

Monitor site safety conditions and ensure compliance with all job safety requirements and certifications.

Verify that completed work meets quality standards and participate in QA/QC reviews prior to customer walkthroughs.

Ensure all work aligns with customer rules, guidelines, and installation standards.

Validate required materials and resources to support build completion.

Support both new deployment projects and live site or production-related requests as needed.

Participate in customer design or build review meetings when requested.

Support team engagement with new technologies, manufacturers, and software tools in coordination with project management.

Identify strengths and development opportunities within the team and recommend applicable training.

Track and document project data related to quality, efficiency, delivery, and lessons learned.

Maintain accurate project documentation and required paperwork.
Job Requirements

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in installation of structured cabling systems, rack infrastructure, and large-scale build projects.

Proven ability to lead and manage multiple crews simultaneously.

Strong time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to forecast Client needs and manage labor units effectively.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Project.

Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and port maps.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated leadership experience with documented team development outcomes.

Thorough understanding of copper and fiber installations, terminations, certifications, and troubleshooting.

Knowledge of local installation standards, codes, and infrastructure components.

Certification as a Cabling Test Technician (CFTT) and Certified Fiber Installer (CFI), or equivalent certifications through BICSI or FOA.

Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor.

Clear understanding of job safety requirements and escalation points of contact.
