Job Summary

The Manager - Pipeline Integration (Product Movement & Scheduling) leads and coordinates integration activities supporting Energy Transfer's Northeast refined products and NGL pipeline assets. This role serves as a key link between Scheduling, Operations, Engineering, Control Center, Integrity, Measurement, and Commercial teams to ensure system changes, operational initiatives, and commercial opportunities are implemented safely and efficiently.

This position works closely with the Pipeline Scheduling Manager to support system planning, integration execution, and operational decision-making, helping ensure scheduling strategies align with system capabilities and operational constraints.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead pipeline integration efforts supporting Northeast refined products and NGL systems, including new connections, system modifications, operational changes, and commercial initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary coordination point between Scheduling, Operations, Control Center, Engineering, Integrity, Measurement, and Commercial teams.
  • Evaluate system capabilities, constraints, and risks associated with proposed changes and provide clear, actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Ensure integration plans align with scheduling requirements, throughput targets, inventory management, allocation constraints, and product quality considerations.
  • Partner with Business Development and Commercial teams to assess the operational feasibility and system impacts of new business opportunities.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain standardized integration processes, documentation, and communication protocols.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings and working groups to manage timelines, resolve conflicts, and drive accountability.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency, reliability, and coordination across Northeast refined products and NGL assets.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to schedulers, analysts, and other team members involved in integration-related activities.
  • Communicate system changes, execution plans, and risks clearly to internal stakeholders and, as needed, external partners.
  • Support month-end close activities by partnering with the Monthly Scheduler to provide operational insight, system validation, and coordination related to pipeline movements, inventories, and integration activities, in support of accounting and financial reporting functions.

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 8-10 years of experience in pipeline operations, scheduling, integration, or related midstream roles.
  • Demonstrated experience working with refined products pipeline systems; exposure to NGL assets preferred where integrated with refined products operations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of pipeline operations, scheduling, system constraints, and product movement.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced operating environment.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business impacts.
  • High level of judgment and decision-making ability under time-sensitive conditions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively influencing teams without direct authority.
  • Strong stakeholder management and customer-focused mindset.
  • Familiarity with pipeline scheduling, operational, or accounting support systems such as PFIS, PLS, and Entero, or the ability to quickly learn similar systems.

  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate.
