Job Description:

Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG) is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their Finance Department. This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN.

This role supports monthly financial and analytical reviews, including budget-to-actual and variance analysis of statistical, revenue, and expense accounts, assists with annual operating budget preparation, and contributes to ongoing benchmark and discretionary spend reviews. The position also performs ad hoc financial analyses and projects as assigned while supporting organizational goals, core values, and strategic initiatives.

• Assists with researching, analyzing, including budget vs. actual and trended variance analysis for statistical, revenue and expense accounts monthly.
• Assists with compilation of annual operating budgets working with finance managers to assist in, pulling and reviewing data, and other budget initiatives
• Assists with other special and adhoc projects as assigned.
• Assists with pulling data for reviewing benchmarks.
• Assists with discretionary spend process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics or Business required.
• Experience in public accounting, budgeting or financial planning highly preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
