Job Title: Aircraft Inspector Senior

Location with zip code: Ft. Worth 76114 - ONSITE

Duration: 6 months Contract to Hire

Payrate: $25/hr. on W2 without benefits

Shift: 1st 7-3:30pm (Mon-Fri)

Pre-Screening Questions:

  • What types of aircraft, components, or systems have you inspected (e.g., structures, avionics, composites, engines)?
  • Have you used digital inspection systems or software such as Solumina, Velosio, SAP, or Net Inspect?
  • Can you explain your experience working under FAA Part 21 / Part 145 requirements?
  • Have you participated in FAA audits, customer audits, or internal quality audits? In what capacity?
  • How do you handle a non-conforming part during an inspection?
  • Describe a time you identified a critical defect. What actions did you take?


Job Description:

  • Perform semi-complex inspections of parts and assembled products using calibrated measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.
  • Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, and customer specifications to determine product acceptance or rejection.
  • Maintain accurate inspection, calibration, acceptance, and rejection records in accordance with company and industry requirements.
  • Conduct first article inspections, surface plate set-ups, and dimensional layout checks on castings, forgings, and machined parts.
  • Identify defective conditions, document test failures, and assist with root cause investigations for internal and customer returns.
  • Verify calibration status of inspection tools and equipment and support internal and external audit processes.


Education:

  • 3-5 years related inspection, or calibration experience or demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities.
  • Preferred experience of CMM operations, background in dimensioning and tolerancing per ANSI Y 14.5.
  • Knowledge of applicable military standards or specifications required.
