Duties, Responsibilities & Other

The Senior Director of Growth serves as the frontend growth engine for KCI's Technology & Innovation sector, leading and scaling the technology services market through disciplined strategy, execution, and accountability. This role owns priority market focus, key client and account plans, pipeline development, and pursuit execution while driving consistent sales performance and sustainable growth. As a senior leader, the Senior Director of Growth sets gotomarket strategy, enforces commercial and go/nogo decisions, strengthens partner ecosystems, and champions operational rigor to ensure transparency, collaboration, and measurable results aligned with the sector's growth objectives.

Responsibilities Include:

    Lead and scale the Technology Services market as the front-end growth engine; ensure ownership of priority market focus, account plans, pipeline/pursuits, proposals, and client/account management.
  • Establish and manage accountability for primary growth KPIs including sales growth, new clients, expanded service wins, and cross-collaboration efforts across sectors.
  • Own and enforce growth decisions including go/no-go, client selection, teaming arrangements, pricing strategy, and pursuit resourcing decisions.
  • Drive demand generation through go-to-market strategies, including account-based marketing and targeted campaigns.
  • Build and activate a partner ecosystem (co-marketing, joint solutioning, implementation visibility) aligned to priority offers.
  • Standardize the sales motion across markets and align commercial packaging and messaging.
  • Lead the growth role in the sector's standard work process by logging demand with timing/skills needs and confirming client expectations.
  • Run the growth operating cadence (e.g. pipeline & pursuit review) and contribute to monthly KPI reviews and quarterly business reviews.
  • Champion CRM and operational discipline to improve transparency of pipeline and performance.
  • Contribute to achieving the sector's growth goals and annual targets.

Qualifications

Education, Skills and/or experiences required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in business development, account management, capture/proposal leadership, or growth roles within professional services/consulting (public-sector and/or infrastructure-owner markets preferred).
  • 5+ years of senior leadership experience leading multi-market growth teams and owning sales outcomes (pipeline, bookings, win rate).
  • Demonstrated success driving disciplined qualification/go-no-go decisions, proposal leadership, and client/account management.
  • Strong commercial skills including pricing strategy and experience structuring professional services engagements.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and pipeline forecasting/reporting.

Education, Skills and/or experiences preferred:

  • Master's degree (MBA or related).
  • Experience implementing account-based management (ABM) programs and creating proof assets (case studies, demos, reference architectures, one-pagers).
  • Experience building/managing partner ecosystems and co-selling.

Certificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Required:

  • None required. Relevant certifications such as APMP/CPSM or equivalent are a plus.
