The Inside Sales Coordinator supports the coil division by facilitating internal sales operations and ensuring alignment with strategic marketing initiatives. This role plays a key part in maintaining customer satisfaction, coordinating product-related communications, and supporting cross-functional collaboration. This position is responsible for coordinating selling efforts to grow new and incremental sales by identifying opportunities in samples and prioritizing sample creation appropriately. This includes meetings with key customers, phone calls, and emails and documenting the interactions to coordinate efforts with the sales reps.

This is NOT a remote/hybrid position and will report to our Minneapolis, location.

  • Manage and prioritize requests for product samples from Building Owners, General Contractors, Sub-Contractors, and Architects.

  • Coordinate with the lab to ensure timely creation and delivery of samples, while monitoring lab bandwidth to provide accurate lead times.

  • Streamline the sample creation and delivery process, identifying and addressing bottlenecks for efficiency.

  • Act as the initial point of contact for product sample requests, qualifying all samples requested, new leads and forwarding relevant information to the appropriate outside sales representative.

  • Coordinate and process sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timely execution

  • Maintain and update product and customer data across CRM and ERP systems

  • Assist in preparing sales materials and presentations aligned with product positioning

  • Support internal communication between sales, marketing, and operations teams

  • Manage the coil general emails and help line, assisting with requests and forwarding correspondence to the appropriate party

  • Develop general knowledge of SWCC products to provide application and use support to customers

  • Monitor customer feedback and assist in satisfaction tracking and reporting

  • Schedule and support meetings, product reviews, and internal planning sessions

  • Contribute to documentation and reporting that supports strategic initiatives

  • Assist with sample requests, product literature distribution, and follow-up communications

  1. FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Library Science, Operations, or a related field.

  1. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  1. Required:

  • At least 1 year of customer service or inside/outside sales experience

  1. Preferred:

  • Experience in color science, coatings, or manufacturing industries
