Job Title: Agile ITFM Business Analyst Location(s): Austin, TX Job Description The IT Finance Analyst supports the Finance Manager in the IT Financial Management process which encompasses IT Finance, Chargeback, and Dispute management. This is a project role for Approach, Design, build, test and Go Live. A full understanding the Agile/Scrum methodology regarding product user story creation, estimating, sprint planning, demo, retrospective and the Agile product development lifecycle is required. This person ensures accurate invoices are delivered to the Client and their Suppliers. They work independently implementing deliverables, conducting research and performing analysis. Responsibilities The IT Finance Analyst integrates with various ITIL service management processes including Service Asset & Configuration Management performing the following activities:
- General - Point of contact for the client, client's customers, and service providers regarding invoices and disputes.
- Ensures IT Manager is briefed in financial activities of the account, perform to expectations and deliver all services in scope to Client satisfaction at the required contribution margin.
- Delivers invoices to Client and their Suppliers and Customers.
- Identifies further service/project opportunities to grow business & revenue.
- Client Intimacy.
- Service reporting and quality management.
- Thorough understanding of all contractual obligations.
- Contributes to the relationship with the clients to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
- Aids in identifying cost reduction and service improvement opportunities.
- Service Delivery - Ensures that the agreed targets for delivery are consistently met.
- Works to identify areas for improvements within Finance and Chargeback.
- Provides input and feedback to the overall Continual Service Improvement Plan.
- Captures and articulates requirements for service/contract changes.
- Manages standards and procedures, and possesses a good understanding of the business context of the organization.
- Service Quality and Improvement - Works with other service delivery leads to ensure all relevant process documentation for the managed areas reflects ITIL best practices and client requirements, ensuring it is reviewed and updated within agreed timescales.
- Works with and drives forward improvements within the managed areas and produces recommendations for inclusion in the service improvements plans.
- Acts as a referral point for client issues and escalations.
- Financial control and support - Ensures that cost control is maintained for the assigned project codes. SLA Implementation/Performance Reporting - Reviews and analyses day-to-day operations to ensure SLA commitments are met IT Finance and Chargeback.
- Contributes to the regular management reports for client and attends review meetings.
- Constructs trend analysis, root cause analysis and other requested reports.
What you bring:
- 2 or more years of IT Financial Management Experience.
- 1 years or more in budget and forecasting experience.
- Strong verbal and writing skills in order to effectively communicate information to clients and internal team members.
- Awareness of a number of IT Financial Management Tools such as IT Business Management and IT Finance Management.
- Time management skills to meet agreed targets.
- Experience of designing, developing and/or implementing processes.
- Strong analytical skills are needed to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details.
- Facilitation skills to lead requirements gathering workshops and provide training to clients and internal team members.
- Interpersonal skills, to help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders; such as clients and internal team members.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in the delivery of customer services to expected SLAs; Be able to understand contractual requirements and identify areas for improvement.
