Overview

This position serves as an aide to grant-funded research activities associated with the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Sciences for the purpose of assisting the investigator in the conduct of studies. The availability and length of the position is contingent on grant funding. The person in this position will assist in coordinating, integrating, and managing a research program focused on improving treatment adherence and self-management in children with chronic liver disease or transplantation and their families.

Responsibilities

    Under supervision, prepare for initiation of new research protocols and oversee existing study protocols.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of clinical report forms (CRF) and study databases for respective research projects.
  • Under supervision of PI, Director of Research and Coordinator, identify and recruit eligible participants into research studies, obtain written informed consent, and conduct study visit and data collection.
  • Disseminate study findings and resources to increase knowledge and understanding in the area of treatment adherence and pediatric self-management.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and
    • 1-2 years experience
      • Experience in research participant enrollment and database management preferred.

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $18.02/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.



Remote Work/Work from Home

This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children's Mercy locations and may not work from home.
