Summary:
Responsible for directing and implementing key initiatives, programs, services and priorities at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital. Provides operational and clinical leadership to a continuum of spiritual care services. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions: -Provide spiritual support to patients and their families during times of illness, injury, and loss. -Offer comfort, support, prayer, and other religious rituals and practices that align with patient's beliefs. -Plan and administer spiritual and emotional care to ensure timely and high-quality patient, family, and staff intervention. -Oversee and support the recruitment, onboarding, training and coordination of Spiritual Care staff and volunteers. Work in collaboration with volunteer services to meet the needs of clinical and administrative areas as necessary. -Oversee Clinical Pastoral Education Program (CPE) with ACPE Certified Educator. -Administratively and operationally manage MGB systems (Workday, UKG, STRATA) in support of the Spiritual Care Department.
