*** Full Time Monday- Friday 8:30 A.M.- 4:30 P.M., Pay Range: $20.00- $22.00 Per Hour*** The Salvation Army Mission: The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Summary/Primary Purpose: Provide individualized case management and supportive services for homeless individuals who are seeking employment and services through The Salvation Army's A Way to Work program. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in social work or related field or minimum of two years equivalent experience. Case management with homeless population experience preferred. Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position.
Other Qualifications: Must pass all applicable background checks. Must possess a valid driver's license from the state in which you reside. Must be approved through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business. Must successfully complete Safe from Harm training within 90 days of hire, as established by The Salvation Army. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must complete CPR/First Aid training upon hire and maintain active certification for the duration of employment. Must complete Non-violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) training upon hire and maintain certification for the duration of employment. These trainings and any others required for employment will be provided by the employer. Must secure 12 in-service hours annually. Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting, and carrying objects (50 lbs.) Working Conditions: This position may require working in outdoor weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud at times.
