This position requires availability for on call responsibilities. The University of California, San Diego Health System seeks individuals to oversee the teamstasked with the responsibility of daily operations of various systems within the EnterpriseSystems Team portfolio. These include, but are not limited to Microsoft Platform administrationincluding Office 365 administration, Active Directory, Azure, Hyper-V, Bitlocker, Azure VirtualDesktop, Azure PIM and the System Center suite. Other hosting and administrative platformsincluding Cisco UCS, Nutanix, Azure Local, VMWare, Citrix, Infoblox, Netscaler, RecastEndpoint management,JAMF, Quest Active Roles, Pure/Netapp SANs, Brocade switches,Ansible, Rubrik, Crashplan, Imprivata, PrinterLogic, Absolute, Cyberark, BeyondTrust,Snapcomms, Devolutions RDM, Cisco Secure Workload, Proofpoint, ServiceNow CMDBmanagement, technical coordination and Epic Hosting relationship management. The successful applicants will have a background in leading the implementation andadministration of systems associated with one of 4 subspecialties: Server and Hosting Services,Enterprise Management and Mobility, Microsoft Platform Services Administration, or Storageand Backup Services. Supervisory responsibilities in all areas require 24/7 on call escalationstandby. Supervisors requires knowledge to direct a team responsible for providing the hostingand application delivery platforms that run the application stack for an institution dedicate tothree main missions: an academic hospital dedicated to patient care, a diverse researchinstitution, and teaching the next generation of medical, pharmacy, and other graduate studentprograms within the Schools of Medicine, Pharmacy and Public Health. The supervisor will obtain requirements and work closely with the senior departmentrepresentatives to deliver robust and secure authentication solutions for all enterpriseapplications. The incumbent will have a good background in technical writing, projectmanagement and documentation. In conjunction with the senior staff, the incumbent provides system design proposals, analysis,maintenance, monitoring, cost analysis and hardening designs (including data security) ofsystems and servers and/or workstations including installations, upgrades, patches, as well asdocumentation with primary responsibility for the implementation, management, support andmaintenance of various system software products and hardware components that compriseenterprise physical and virtual computing infrastructure. Provides leadership in managing andsupporting the systems/hardware infrastructure and associated resources. Provides 7/24problem escalation management support and resolution for all applications and operatingsystems. Incumbent will have advanced knowledge with a variety of software tools, including those relatedto support and implementation. Incumbents provide consultation and knowledge transfer withrespect to a variety of authentication system and software components. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $108,100 - $204,900 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $51.77 - $98.13 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). | |
