Dispatcher

Pay: $22.00+/hr DOE | Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 45-50 hrs/week

Waste Connections is looking for motivated, safetydriven individuals to join our team at the Ocala Express Hauling location as a Dispatcher. • Monday-Friday
• Start time: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Typically 10-hour workdays (45-50 hours/week)

• $22.00+/hr based on experience
• Overtime available

• Work with Operations and Customer Service to resolve service concerns
• Analyze and resolve issues such as missed pickups, misplaced containers, or property matters
• Provide drivers with support and clarification for pickups and deliveries
• Schedule and dispatch work to drivers throughout the day
• Utilize Waste Connections proprietary software and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Maintain positive customer interactions and promote goodwill
• Perform in a highvolume, fastpaced call environment
• Upsell additional services when applicable

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years dispatch experience in transportation/logistics preferred
• Strong typing and computer skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Excellent organization, multitasking, and problemsolving skills
