Position Title: Cheese Cutter
Wage: $19.30-$21.30 per hour Shift: 3rd QPS Employment Group has a great Cheese Cutter position available at a company in Monroe, WI. This is a 3rd shift position with the opportunity for hire. Cheese Cutter Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Utilize crane system including set up, hand controls, moving of forms, proper loading/unloading of forms while monitoring cables to prevent twisting and pinching (once trained and certified). - Setup and use of Grinder and Cutter including carriage/harp/basket along with knowledge of daily schedule; proper insertion of product and forms as needed. - Cheese recovery including scraping bottom of pallets and pans for brown process tubs. - Knowledge of color code system used for processing cheese including cheese type specifics for production. - Strict adherence to GMPs; Keep area clean. - Strict adherence to Safety/PPE protocols and procedures; reporting unsafe conditions to plant management. - Accurate recordkeeping and line specific paperwork. Cheese Cutter Requirements: - Strong listening skills and ask questions to understand instructions for work-related activities. - Takes initiative to complete tasks along with a continuous improvement mindset. - Works as a team with positive attitude and behaviors. - Verbal and written communication skills; including ability to read, understand and follow written procedures (SOPs). - Flexibility in job roles, assisting team mates along with covering breaks when needed to meet business needs. - Meet physical demands of role, Honest and high level of Integrity, high degree of personal hygiene per GMPs, dependable attendance to meet business demands. - Moderately strenuous work involving standing, walking with frequent bending, twisting, pushing and squatting; Repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs. - Fast-paced clean environment; frequently cool, wet, and moderate noise along with working with chemicals. monroe@qpsemployment.com IND038 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
