Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift OWW

Location: Wickliffe, Ohio

Shift: 3rd Shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Plant Maintenance Technician to join our 3rd shift team in Wickliffe. This hands-on role requires minimal supervision and involves maintaining, repairing, and installing machinery and equipment across the plant, office, laboratory facilities, and surrounding property.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, technically skilled, and safety-conscious, with a broad knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pipefitting trades, capable of troubleshooting and repairing critical machinery efficiently and correctly the first time.

• Electrical: Troubleshoot, install, and repair electrical components and controllers (110-480V); run conduit as needed.

• Machine Repair: Install, repair, and troubleshoot critical machinery including hydraulic, pneumatic, CNC, and mechanical systems, ensuring work is completed correctly and on time.

• Pipefitting: Thread and install pipes of all sizes including gas, air, copper, hazardous chemical lines, and materials such as stainless steel, Inconel, PVC, and CPVC.

• Perform basic carpentry, painting, and masonry tasks.

• Perform basic welding tasks as required.

• Conduct minor HVAC repairs on plant systems.

• Provide guidance and instruction to maintenance employees with lower skill levels.

• Follow all safety rules and regulations at all times.

• Safely accumulate and handle hazardous waste.

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

• In-depth experience in general maintenance of plant equipment.

• Significant electrical and electronics experience.

• Strong ability to troubleshoot and repair critical machinery.

• General knowledge of plant HVAC systems.

• Ability to work in varying physical environments, from moderate to extreme temperatures.

• Additional technical education or applied theory preferred.

• Must have the physical ability to climb and work at varying heights safely.

• Work on a wide variety of equipment and trades in a dynamic industrial environment.
