SUMMARY: Works closely with management and analysts to develop and maintain the training program for the roles in their application. Training & Develop Coord (Principle Trainer) must have a solid understanding of operational practices relevant to their applications that may include clinical documentation, orders, scheduling, patient-clinic communications, result routing, charge entry, coding, claims processing, and patient billing. Training & Develop Coordinators will create and coordinate the schedule of training for each user, Develop and implement the training, and ensure that all users who need to be trained on the system are trained prior to gaining access to the system.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree (preferred), or AA degree in computer science or related field with minimum two years of experience. Must possess strong computer and organizational knowledge and be detailed to understand workflows and system configurations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS: Current Epic certification(s) for relevant applications. New hires have no more than 60 days from date of hire for completion of Epic training to meet required Epic certifications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1.Develop role-based training content, independently or with team members, using a variety of software programs, tools, and applications (such as Microsoft Office).
2.Designs, develops and maintains instructional materials.
3.Maintains policy and procedures documentation.
4.Incorporates feedback from others into existing training and training procedures.
5.Learn new content and consult with subject matter experts to develop training materials and answer any participant questions.
6.Assists with building and testing of training environments and providing support and troubleshooting issues.
7.Collaborate with other trainers by co-facilitating classroom instruction and assisting with exercises as needed.
8.Prepares training lessons, prints materials, and sets up the training room and environment prior to the training session.
9.Train employees in relevant applications, while presenting information verbally and in writing in a clear and easy-to-understand manner.
10.Performs other duties as assigned
