Description
The Honors College at West Virginia University is currently accepting applications for a Program Coordinator for the Office of Undergraduate Research. About the Opportunity The Program Coordinator for the Office of Undergraduate Research (UGR) plays a central role in supporting and advancing the mission of UGR by managing the daytoday administrative operations of undergraduate research programs and initiatives. This position provides essential coordination across all programmatic activities, ensuring smooth planning, execution, and assessment of UGR efforts. Working in close collaboration with the Director of Undergraduate Research, the Program Coordinator supports programs from inception through completion. Responsibilities include organizing and implementing key initiatives such as recruitment events, workshops, trainings, student research symposia, travel to conferences, and other programrelated activities. The coordinator manages program communications, advertisement, applications, participant tracking, and ongoing assessment to ensure program quality and effectiveness. Additional responsibilities include identifying and managing program funding and maintaining accurate program records and reports.
