Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

Manages and directs activities/responsibilities for departments assigned: Registration, Pre-Registration and QI staff. Ensures processes are performed efficiently and effectively. Adhering to: Corporate and Government Compliance. See job specific duties.


Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. 5 years registration, HIM or clinical experience

3 years management experience required
3. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS's Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.

EDUCATION / LICENSURE:

1. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree required

2. May substitute equivalent work experience for degree requirement (5+ years of experience)

4. Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred.

5. Minimum 5 years of Hospital Business Office

6. Minimum 5 years management experience

7. Experience in healthcare provider finance operations or similar service environments required.

8. Must obtain CPI certification within 6 months of hire and must keep current at all times. Certification must be in accordance with the curriculum of the AHA, for Healthcare Provider's Program.
