Your Opportunity:Taylor is seeking a Quality and Compliance Manager to lead our quality assurance and quality control initiatives. In this role, you will help ensure that our products and processes meet our standards of quality, leading to increased customer satisfaction. You will collaborate across departments to drive continuous improvement and build a culture of excellence. This role involves strategic planning, process improvement, and leadership to ensure operational efficiency, high-quality service delivery, and alignment with the company's overall goals.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) protocols and procedures across all operational areas
  • Oversee internal investigations of potential compliance violations
  • Ensure products and processes meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct both internal and external audits to identify noncompliance
  • Establish, monitor and drive continuous improvement in quality performance metrics
  • Train and mentor cross functional staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices while providing leadership and direction
  • Collect, analyze, summarize data and report to leadership
  • Implement a system of regular audits to identify areas for improvement in quality processes
  • Identify improved inspection methods for each production step
  • Collaborate with production, customer service, and sales to resolve quality issues
  • Lead and coach root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes.
  • Manage suspect/nonconforming material process

You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance/control, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean, or other quality frameworks
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to interpret quality metrics.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with operations management software
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey quality standards and engage with stakeholders including customers
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated
  • A passion for continuous improvement and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Certification in CQE, CQA, or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
  • Food safety management systems for packaging
  • Experience in manufacturing within a printing industry

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
