Description Acara Solutions has been providing aerospace firms nationally with our staffing services for over 65 years. Our national/international aerospace client with roots back to the 1850's, has a plant in Fort Walton, FL (Panhandle). They are looking for 2 Test Engineers with electronics backgrounds to join their organization. These are direct salaried employee positions (up to $135K) plus bonus.
The team currently consists of 2 other test engineers, 3 technicians, 3 assemblers in their new $2M high power lab. This is a hands-on in the lab testing products position. Will have some engineering responsibilities; for example, software or hardware development and writing reports.
The Test Engineer works with minimal supervision and uses originality, ingenuity and established procedures to perform engineering duties in researching, planning, designing, and developing products for use in the Aerospace or Electronics marketplace. The Test Engineer works on new product designs, modernization, and upgrades, as well as performs extensive analyses to ensure cost, quality, and customer requirements. The Test Engineer also uses computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform daily assignments, applying principles of science and mathematics to develop economical solutions to technical problems.
Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (prefer BSEE)
Min 5+ years exp designing test equipment for electronics product testing, production and NPI testing (including automated and bench level testing)
** One of the 2 two positions can be level II with as little as 2 years of electronics test experience.
This facility works with the U.S. military, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
ATE working programming knowledge with AteEasy or LabView
Analog experience
High voltage exp
Experience in writing qualification procedures
