The Project Architect provides project-wide design and technical leadership to create high quality solutions aligned with project goals. Serving as Professional of Record, this role holds primary responsibility to ensure design intent, technical quality and project requirements are successfully integrated into the overall project design and deliverables.

Responsibilities

    Provides project-wide design and technical leadership, oversight, and coordination
  • Serves as Professional of Record on projects of various scales and complexity
  • Applies sound professional judgement and technical expertise to guide project execution
  • Partners with Project Managers in development and maintenance of scope, budget, schedule, and labor resource plans
  • Translates project scope into coordinated deliverables and documentation strategies
  • Prepares, reviews and oversees production of drawings, specifications, and other required technical documentation
  • Leads Construction Administration and resolution of design-related issues
  • Leads interface with clients, stakeholders, consultants, and contractors regarding design and technical related aspects of the project
  • Implements and oversees Parkhill's quality control, risk management and project delivery standard practices for the project design and deliverables
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Professional Architecture License required
  • 5+ years of relevant architectural experience
  • Demonstrated capability to assume project-wide architectural responsibility
  • Experience supporting and coordinating project controls and Construction Administration
  • Proficiency with architectural design software, including Revit, MOS, and Bluebeam
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
