Material Handler I Location: Sussex, WI Schedule: Monday-Friday \| 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM About the Opportunity We are posting an internal opportunity for a Material Handler I in our Sussex, WI facility. This role is ideal for team members who are dependable, safetyfocused, and able to stay on task, with proven forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. The Material Handler I plays a key role in supporting production flow by ensuring materials are moved accurately, safely, and efficiently throughout the department. Key Responsibilities Transport materials into, out of, and throughout assigned departments Safely operate a forklift and other powered equipment to move materials Load and unload materials onto pallets, trays, racks, or shelving Properly use barcode scanners and follow inventory movement procedures Identify and report barcode or shelf label issues to leadership Assist with identifying and resolving inventory errors Perform inventory counts and cycle counts as required Report discrepancies accurately and in a timely manner Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with safety guidelines Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned (reasonable accommodations provided) What We're Looking For Forklift experience required (manufacturing or warehouse setting preferred) Strong dependability, attendance, and followthrough Ability to remain focused and stay on task in a structured environment Detailoriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality Working knowledge of shipping and warehouse operations Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new systems Selfmotivated team player with the ability to multitask when needed Willingness to flex work hours occasionally to meet business needs Commitment to safety, security, and housekeeping standards What Success Looks Like Safe and accurate forklift operation Meeting productivity and quality expectations Completing tasks correctly and on time Maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas Clear communication with leadership and team members Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED required Minimum 6 months of related experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or technically oriented role Forklift certification a plus (or ability to obtain if not currently certified) Attendance Requirement: Employees must maintain fewer than 3 attendance points to remain in good standing.
