Our Summer Internship Program
An internship with us gives you the opportunity to work side by side with passionate problem solvers on powerful and fulfilling work. Our collaborative culture inspires you to learn from the expertise surrounding you and to share your own knowledge and experience with colleagues. You'll be asked to speak up and challenge the status quo - you have a voice and will be encouraged to use it.
Additionally, over the summer, there will be opportunities to participate in events just for our interns: social events with other interns, career development workshops, community service projects, and networking with senior leaders - just to name a few!
About the Role
The Summer Intern will work directly with the Executive Director of the Engagement Center to gain hands on experience across the full lifecycle of client program development and execution. This role is designed to provide a unique, comprehensive view of how engagement center programs evolve-from receiving an RFP, to preparing a bid, defending the proposal, supporting implementation, and understanding the ongoing financial and operational management of a fully executed program.
This internship is ideal for a motivated, curious student interested in operations, business strategy, program management, digital solutions, and the pharmaceutical services industry.

Key Responsibilities
1. Pre Award & Proposal Development
  • Assist with reviewing incoming Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and understanding client requirements.
  • Along with Executive Director support bid materials including resource models, and pricing inputs.
  • Participate in bid defense preparation activities, including storyline development, presentation materials, and supporting documentation.
2. Implementation & Program Launch Exposure
  • Observe cross functional kickoff processes (Rung the Bell)
  • Observe Account Activation and participate in an actual program implementation.
  • Learn how technology, operations, analytics, quality, and training functions collaborate to launch a program successfully.
3. Live Program Operations & Business Management
  • Shadow operational leads to understand how performance is monitored, reported, and optimized.
  • Assist in tracking KPIs, operational metrics, and financial elements such as forecasting, staffing, and invoicing inputs.
  • Gain insight into client communications, performance reviews, and continuous improvement practices.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the internship, the student will gain:
  • A complete understanding of the engagement center program lifecycle-from RFP receipt to live operations.
  • Exposure to cross functional collaboration across sales, operations, finance, analytics, and technology.
  • Hands on experience with AI assisted knowledge management tools and project documentation.
  • Practical skills in project tracking, business analysis, and strategic communication.
