As a Security Officer - Armed Retail Center in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a busy retail and mall location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. Working as part of a team, you will support a positive guest experience while acting with integrity in a caring, agile, and innovative culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail and mall location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail sales floors, common areas, loading and receiving areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for security-related concerns, escalating issues to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Complete security-related documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years' armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Loss Prevention is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
