The Employee Relations Business Partner - Remote will provide standardized, timely support for managers and employees to optimize employee performance and ensure equal employment opportunities are provided in all aspects of the employer-employee relationship. This role will lead efforts to address employee performance deficiencies, conduct investigations and promote best practices for compliance with applicable employment law and policy.



Your Impact

We expect that you will quickly demonstrate your value by:

    Conducting investigations and recommending remediation actions for allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation
  • Assisting management with performance improvement actions including progressive discipline and performance improvement plans
  • Assisting / guiding management on policy interpretation, laws, and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide reporting on key metrics including attrition and ER activity. Will also conduct exit interviews.
  • Partnering with managers to lead / implement compliance initiatives, and other best practice activities.
  • Demonstrating the ability to run reports and tie HR metrics to business and financial objectives and recommending solutions to help the business achieve its goals.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of federal, state, and local laws related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Exhibiting strong oral and written communication skills; customer centric and results driven.
  • Demonstrating excellent time management skills and following through on all commitments.
  • Demonstrating strong analytical, interpersonal skills with the ability to problem solve and think creatively to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while simultaneously managing multiple priorities.
  • Supporting other initiatives as requested.


Minimum Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, General Business, Management, or related course of study is required.
  • Five (5) years' relevant HR experience.
  • Must be available for occasional travel as needed
  • Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver's license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.

Preferred

  • Bilingual (Spanish)

  • Must demonstrate effective PC skills in common software applications, and more advanced skills in Power Point and Excel (create presentations, spread sheets, pivot tables, charts, graphs, etc.)

Pay range of $85,000 to $115,000 annual salary + annual bonus: up to 10% of base pay depending on bonus criteria. This pay range is posted to comply with wage transparency laws. Hanger salary ranges vary based on skill, ability, knowledge, geographic location and other variables.
