Wenger Corporation is seeking a Marketing Content Specialist to join our team. As a Marketing Content Specialist, you will contribute to Wenger Corporation's strategy to provide an exceptional customer experience by translating business objectives and stakeholder priorities into compelling, customer-focused content that drives engagement, builds trust, and supports revenue growth. You will own the creation, execution, and delivery of high-quality, on-brand content that supports annual sales targets, product launches, and strategic marketing initiatives. You will execute content plans in alignment with campaign direction and targeting strategy defined by the Demand Generation Specialist, while serving as the primary marketing liaison to Sales for storytelling, project profiles, and sales enablement materials.



This is a structured hybrid position which requires working in our Owatonna, MN facility: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Tuesdays and Fridays are home office workdays. Therefore, candidates must reside within reasonable drivable distance to the facility.



This job might be for you if you have:



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Music Education, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing or a related role
  • Strong understanding of branding, content strategy, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Proven experience in managing website content, and marketing collateral.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of content optimization and SEO best practices.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.



It'd be great if you also have:



  • B2B content marketing experience in music education, performing arts, or live entertainment.
  • Experience working in a B2B organization, preferably within music education, performing arts, or a similar market.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and Premiere Pro) for the creation and editing of marketing, sales, and video content.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, WordPress, Salesforce, or similar systems.
  • Creative, results-oriented mindset with a focus on supporting sales and marketing goals.



What you will do on a typical day:

Content Strategy Execution & Delivery



  • Lead strategic content creation to support annual sales targets, product launches, promotions, and product updates.
  • Own the planning, development, execution, and distribution of high-quality content across all marketing channels.
  • Translate campaign objectives and stakeholder direction into clear, compelling messaging and creative assets.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice, messaging framework, and visual identity across all touchpoints.
  • Ensure content strengthens SEO performance in collaboration with external agency partners.
  • Enhance customer experience through educational resources, thought leadership, and helpful tools.
  • Showcase project success stories and case studies to reinforce credibility and customer retention.


Sales Collaboration & Story Development



  • Serve as the primary marketing liaison to Sales for:

    • Project profiles and case studies
    • Customer success stories and testimonials
    • Thought leadership and story highlights
    • Sales presentations, one-pagers, proposal materials, and training tools


  • Partner closely with the Communications Coordinator and Marketing Generalist to coordinate and execute content initiatives, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and timely delivery across all marketing efforts.
  • Proactively gather insights from Sales teams to develop content reflecting real-world applications, customer challenges, and measurable solution impact.
  • Develop and maintain a centralized library of sales enablement materials to support opportunity advancement and closing efforts.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Product teams to develop launch strategies, messaging timelines, and supporting campaign assets.


Content Creation & Channel Management



  • Oversee the planning, production, and distribution of high-quality content across key channels to support B2B brand growth, customer engagement, and sales enablement, including:
  • Website and landing pages
  • Blog and educational resources
  • Social media platforms
  • Email marketing campaigns and creative assets
  • Corporate brochures and printed collateral
  • Video and photography assets
  • Internal sales materials and training content
  • Ensure all content is optimized for user experience, clarity, engagement, and SEO best practices.


Vendor & Agency Management



  • Manage workflows and relationships with external vendors, including:

    • Creative agencies
    • Designers and copywriters
    • Printers
    • Videographers and photographers
    • Media buying partners


  • Provide clear creative direction and ensure deliverables meet brand standards, timelines, and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the media buyer to integrate paid media into the content distribution plan by supplying creative assets and messaging.

    • Campaign targeting, budget allocation, and performance reporting remain the responsibility of the Demand Generation Specialist.




Cross-Functional Coordination



  • Take direction from Sales Leadership, Product Management, and Marketing Leadership on priority initiatives and messaging focus.
  • Work closely with Product and Sales teams to support new product launches, feature updates, and promotional initiatives.
  • Coordinate with Technical Writing and Communications resources to ensure literature, website content, and support materials remain accurate and current.
  • Maintain and organize a centralized content repository for Sales and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide work direction to social media contractors or agencies to ensure adherence to brand voice and guidelines; review monthly analytics for awareness and engagement insights.


Trade Shows & Events



  • Lead content development for trade shows and events in collaboration with Marketing and Sales teams, including:

    • Booth messaging
    • Print materials and signage
    • Digital displays and presentations
    • Pre- and post-show promotional assets


  • Ensure event materials align with campaign objectives and sales priorities.
