As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a transportation location, you will manage access control at key entry points, check credentials and badges, and guide visitors with professional customer service. You will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help maintain a secure environment and help to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly, document activity, and work as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that leads with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or staff by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Screen and process entrants by verifying identification, checking credentials, issuing visitor passes, and controlling entry through gates, doors, and restricted areas in accordance with post orders.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, radios, and access control systems to help identify irregular activity and support security-related operations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with operations personnel and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, concourses, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help reduce unauthorized access and report hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
