About the Role

ProlecGE Waukesha is seeking a Commercial Segment Leader (CSL) to own the overall health, performance, and strategy of our Service product portfolio within our power transformer business. This role combines product leadership, pricing strategy, market insight, and crossfunctional collaboration to ensure strong financial and market performance.

The CSL serves as the business champion for engineeredtoorder transformer products, requiring strong technical acumen, customer interaction experience, and the ability to guide product strategy across engineering, sales, planning, and operations.

What You'll Do

• Lead business performance for assigned product lines, including price management, forecasting, and margin optimization.
• Develop product dashboards, KPIs, and action plans to drive performance.
• Own pricing analysis and pricesetting activities.
• Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), identifying risks and opportunities.
• Define and communicate clear, differentiated value propositions.
• Develop marketing tools, messaging, and product positioning strategies.
• Forecast product demand and support annual strategic planning.
• Manage brand strategies and maintain strong relationships with customers and industry partners.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking and market analysis.
• Lead VOC initiatives and commissioned market research.
• Drive product optimization, rationalization, cost analysis, and standardization.
• Manage product development roadmaps and multiyear product strategies.
• Support new product development and crossfunctional programs across sourcing, engineering, finance, sales, and operations.

What You Bring

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years of industry experience in application engineering, product design engineering, product manufacturing or quality, project management, or similar.
• At least 3 years of resultsoriented experience in product management or industrial marketing.
• Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and decisionmaking skills.
• Ability to work crossfunctionally and build consensus among stakeholders.
• Experience in financial analysis, product marketing, and S&OP.
• Entrepreneurial, creative, and organized mindset with strong presentation skills.

Preferred

• Knowledge of electric power transformers and substations.
• Familiarity with industry applications, standards, and governing bodies.
• Experience with business tools such as SAP, Qlik, or PowerBI.
• Experience in channel management strategies.
