Position Summary
The Senior Manager of Branch Services provides strategic and operational leadership across multiple branch locations and functions, ensuring efficient, compliant, and highquality performance that advances organizational goals. This role partners with senior leadership to shape departmental strategy, drive innovation, and lead crossfunctional initiatives. The Senior Manager of Branch Services develops leaders, manages resources, and aligns operations with longterm business objectives to position the organization for sustainable success. Additionally, the role ensures branches deliver exceptional member experiences, fosters staff growth and development, and promotes operational excellence. By creating strategies that strengthen community presence, drive sustainable lending growth, and enhance member relationships, the Senior Manager of Branch Services plays a critical role in the credit union's overall performance and impact.
Duties & Responsibilities
Leadership and People Development
* Provide vision, direction, and leadership across multiple branches and functional areas.
* Hire, mentor, and develop managers and assistant managers to build leadership capabilities and build high performing teams.
* Foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, innovation, and continuous improvement.
* Provide coaching and feedback to direct reports to support immediate performance, strengthen ability to lead high-performing teams, and long-term career growth.
* Champion organizational values and reinforce behaviors that drive engagement and retention.
Strategic and Operational Leadership
* Translate organizational strategy into departmental objectives, priorities, and operational plans.
* Oversee performance and compliance across multiple teams, ensuring efficiency, financial stewardship and service excellence.
* Lead large-scale branch projects and change initiatives.
* Anticipate risks, challenges, and opportunities; implement strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
* Monitor key performance metrics and financial indicators to inform decisions and adjust strategies.
* Ensure adherence to all regulatory, compliance, and internal policy requirements.
* Manage departmental budgets and resource allocations to achieve strategic and financial goals.
* Support lending objectives by guiding teams, optimizing workflows, and partnering with internal lending departments to ensure smooth consumer and real estate loan processes.
Member Experience & Community Engagement
* Ensure branches consistently deliver exceptional, personalized member experiences aligned with organizational standards.
* Identify opportunities to deepen member relationships and expand the credit union's presence within the community.
* Represent the credit union professionally at community and business events to elevate visibility and engagement.
Collaboration and Influence
* Partner with senior leadership to inform, shape, and execute organizational strategies.
* Represent branch operations in leadership forums, committees, and projects.
* Build strong cross-departmental relationships to enhance collaboration, streamline workflows, and support organizational initiatives.
* Communicate critical updates, successes, and challenges to executives and stakeholders.
* Promote alignment across functions to ensure consistent execution of organizational priorities.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills
Required
* 5+ years of progressive leadership experience, including 2+ years managing managers or multi-team operations, preferably within financial services.
* Deep understanding of Affinity Plus's ecosystem, performance measures, competitive landscape, regulatory environment, and industry trends
* Proven ability to translate organizational strategy into actionable goals and measurable outcomes.
* Strong financial and business acumen with experience managing large budgets and resource planning.
* Skilled in developing leaders and building organizational capacity through coaching and mentoring.
* Demonstrated success leading change, driving innovation, and implementing process improvements.
* Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage across all levels of the organization.
* Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with measurable organizational impact.
* High emotional intelligence and resilience; skilled in navigating complex interpersonal and organizational dynamics.
* Proven ability to manage risk, evaluate trade-offs, and make decisions that balance immediate needs with long-term objectives.
Work Environment
* This is a Onsite role. Requires face-to-face leadership and coordination across multiple branch locations.
* Sitting 50% and standing 50%
* Working at a computer 90% of the day, utilizing the phone 10%
* Bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, or crouching when appropriate, on occasion
* Repetitive movements, including but not limited to typing, using a mouse, phones, etc.

* Requires face-to-face interaction and/or coordination of work with other employees and departments, and in-person interaction
Required Work Schedule
Standard Monday through Friday business hours with a willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed. Consistent and reliable attendance is a required essential function of this role to meet the needs of the department/team and organization.
Compensation:
This position has a starting pay range of $85,100 - $108,550 annually.

The actual pay may vary depending on the selected candidate's skills, experience, and other qualifications.
