ABOUT THE JOB:

This position is responsible for developing relationships through outbound efforts to bring in quality opportunities and additional services we can add-on to our sales.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

* Develop strategic partnerships with non-competitive industry related companies for referral network, expanded service offerings,
* Develop relationships with existing and new WillScot clients and vendors to expand our service offerings.
* Develop quality opportunities from outboard work.
* Nurture and develop opportunities in early stages.
* Identify new avenues for business growth.
Measurables
* How many relationships have you developed?
* How many new opportunities are you generating?
* What new services have we been able to utilize from these relationships?
* Have we been able to reduce costs on any existing services through these relationships?
Strategy


1) Sales Reps
a. Work with existing rep networks that have similar clientele but are not direct competitors.
b. Work with existing industry relationships from our team.

2) Strategic Partners
a. Speak with companies to gauge their interest.
b. Visit companies to view their operations, capacity and verify they are not potential competitors.


3) Enterprise/Strategic Accounts:
a. Work with existing accounts/reps to offer temperature controlled products.
b. Work with Enterprise Account reps on seasonal bids.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Education and Experience:
* Minimum Required Education level: High School Diploma/GED
* Preferred Education Level: Bachelor Degree
* Years of related experience: 2-4



Skills & Systems:
* External candidates: 4 years' outside sales experience or bachelor's degree and 2 years' outside sales experience
* Internal candidates: 2 years of sales experience
* Ability to multi-task with high degree of attention to detail and follow through
* Proven track record of acquiring new business opportunities
* Communicate clearly: both verbal and written
* Strong computer skills
* Valid Driver's License

Office


Travel Requirements:
10-20%


Physical Requirements:
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Eyesight and Auditory Skills must be sufficient to meet safety expectations of the position. The employee must be able to verbally communicate with employees, co-workers, and customers in person and by phone. The employee must also be able to travel to various work environments.
