Position Summary

The College of Arts & Science (CAS) is seeking a dedicated Program Administrator, Undergraduate Research & Scholars to join the team. This individual will provide administrative coordination for CAS undergraduate research programming, including Dean's Undergraduate Research Fund application management, communication strategy, and Undergraduate Research Conference planning and logistics. Oversee stipend processing for 300 student grants three times per year. Generate reports on outcomes of Research and Scholars engagement and tracking success metrics. Provide programmatic support to Presidential Scholars program including course logistics, enrollment and registrar processes, and faculty and graduate student appointments. Support logistics of global travel and other scholar engagement activities.



Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in a liberal arts discipline.

Preferred Education:
Master's Degree in a liberal arts discipline.

Required Experience:
3+ years of administrative experience.

Preferred Experience:
5+ years of administrative experience.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Attention to detail, experience with spreadsheet/database management, ability to self-teach, strong self-motivation and task management skills, strong public speaking/communication skills, flexibility and adaptability, Experience with liberal arts research.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Familiarity with application/grant management platforms, leadership/organization experience, familiarity with student success/high-impact practice theory and literature.



Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $75,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
