The City is seeking two Senior Capital Project Engineers who are organized, effective, and collaborative professionals to lead capital projects from design through construction while contributing to the growth of a thriving, diverse community. Recruitment information: The first round of application will be reviewed on March 19th, 2026 Default schedule will be the following: 5/8's with start time between 7 am - 9 am
Note: This role will begin as onsite for the first six months, with opportunities to work a hybrid schedule after six months with approval by the Supervisor. What will you do in this position? - Independently manage the design, development, and completion of public works capital projects by working and collaborating with private consultants.
- Manage construction projects including the development and negotiation of contracts.
- Ensure that all aspects of multiple projects are on time and within budget.
- Review and facilitate the review of engineering design and analysis.
- Strengthens relationships between the City of Bothell and its constituents through courteous, cooperative interactions with clients, visitors, and City staff, and by supporting City goals and priorities in full compliance with established policies and procedures.
A successful candidate in this position will: - Collaborate with the Bothell Community and Departments to build strong, successful partnerships that achieve shared goals.

- A valid Washington State Driver's License is required.
