RESIDENT PROJECT REPRESENTATIVE (RPR) Location: Burley, Idaho Project Start: May 1, 2026 Duration: Approximately 16 months, with an additional 6-month phase anticipated. Position: Resident Project Representative (RPR) Employer: Great West Engineering, Inc. Description: Great West Engineering is seeking a qualified Resident Project Representative (RPR) to provide on-site construction contract oversight for a major infrastructure project beginning May 2026 in Burley, Idaho. The RPR will serve as the engineering team’s on-site representative, supporting construction observation, documentation, and contract compliance throughout the duration of the project. Project Timeline: Primary construction effort: 16 months Additional Phase 2 opportunity: 6 months following complete of Phase 1 Responsibilities Include: Daily on-site observation of contractor activities Monitoring progress, quality, and compliance with plans/specifications Maintaining detailed field logs and photographic documentation Communicating observations to the Engineer and Owner Coordinating with contractors during inspections, testing, and meetings Supporting pay requests, change order reviews, and schedule tracking Representing the Engineer professionally as the on-site liaison Minimum Qualifications: Prior experience in construction contracting, inspection, or construction management Strong understanding of civil/municipal infrastructure construction Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Excellent communication and documentation skills Reliability and ability to work full time on site for the duration of construction Preferred Qualifications: Experience serving as an RPR, construction inspector, or similar role Familiarity with construction contracts Knowledge of local Idah construction practices How to Apply: Please submit a résumé and brief cover letter Learn more about Great West Engineering on our site Equal Opportunity Employer recblid j2305ug9jr42s0bwrosegrd3qudcb7
