This position is responsible for providing Pre-Sales Technical Review upon receipt of a customer data package prior to quotation. Review process is to identify technology, base materials and special internal/external process requirements based on TTM manufacturing capabilities and guidelines.

This position is responsible for:

  • Ensuring data package from customer is complete before acceptance of the package. Interfaces with customer to resolve problems and discrepancies.
  • Interfaces with application engineers on Advanced Designs prior to quotation on advanced / challenging designs.

Provides print translation for the inside sales administration group to use for quoting. Creates a quotation worksheet and checklist and forwards to Senior Inside Sales Administrator

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Customer Data Review Ensure that the customer data is promptly reviewed, and data discrepancies noted. Interfaces with customer to resolve problems and discrepancies. Creates quotation worksheet and checklist and forwards to Senior Inside Sales Administrator.

Advanced Design Review Interfaces with application engineers on Advanced Designs priors to quotation. Ensure adequate communication to the customer concerning any issues that may impact the timely quotation of their product.

Maintain a professional, friendly, and service oriented approach to all communication functions. The Pre-Sales Technical Review Technician is responsible for the promptly reviewing and communicating customer RFQ requirements to the Senior Inside Sales Administrator.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualified applicants must hold U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status.

Knowledge related to the PWB industry required. Five years of PWB experience required. Three years in the specified process discipline within a Preproduction environment. Employee must be able to demonstrate expert knowledge of the process and be able to perform the process on nearly all jobs and challenges that have been assigned without extra guidance and support. Ability to use Star Systems, Valor/Genesis, or all Gerber viewer for data design review. Experience in tasks requiring strong attention to detail. Demonstrated strong and effective communication skills. Work independently with little supervision and competent decision-making abilities. Demonstrate involvement in the improvement of the process discipline.

Implement own recommendations and see projects through to completion.

Ability to communicate effectively by telephone and in group meetings and discussions.

Ability to give and receive information accurately.

Ability to follow directions and procedures accurately; to organize facts and figures; apply basic arithmetic.

  • Daily sitting focusing on and operation of a personal computer or terminal keyboard to enter data for over 60 minutes at a time.

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$49,673 - $78,516

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
