Inova Fairfax Medical Center is looking for a dedicated Radiologic Technologist Extern to join the team. This role will be PRN.

Radiology Extern 2 Job Responsibilities:

• Assist technologist with imaging procedures and may position patient for specified X-Ray exams according to department protocols/procedures and transport/escort patients as necessary
• Adhere to established departmental policies, procedures, protocols, objectives, quality assurance programs, safety, and environmental standards.
• Works well with all Radiologists to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
• Ensures equipment functions, cleanliness of work areas, and preparation of exam room and patient.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: High School or GED. Full-time student in good standing in an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Certification: Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association
