Primary Function

The Operations Analyst will serve as a critical member of the Operations Center (OPCEN) within a secured facility, supporting real-time operational oversight through data monitoring, movement coordination, and reporting. This role ensures accurate tracking of detainee bed assignments, internal movements, and operational metrics to maintain compliance with client standards, safety protocols, and facility efficiency.

All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and the high-quality standard for which Acuity International is recognized. Responsibilities

  • Monitor and update bed assignment systems to ensure accurate occupancy records in accordance with client protocols.

  • Track detainee movement across housing units, medical, legal, and program areas.

  • Generate and distribute daily operational reports, including population counts, movement logs, and incident summaries.

  • Collaborate with housing, medical, and case management teams to coordinate space utilization and movement schedules.

  • Maintain situational awareness of facility operations and escalate anomalies or conflicts to leadership.

  • Support audits and inspections by ensuring data integrity and timely documentation.

  • Assist in developing and refining OPCEN workflows and SOPs specific to client operations.

  • Use facility management software and dashboards to analyze trends and support decision-making.

Job Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Business, or related field preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in operations, logistics, or detention/correctional environments.

  • Proficiency in data entry, reporting tools, and facility management systems.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-security setting.

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.

  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays..

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Must be a US citizen or permanent resident, Resided in the US for 3 years in the past 5 years.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPR/First Aid

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish or other relevant languages) preferred.

  • Familiarity with client standards and operational protocols.

  • Experience in command center or dispatch environments.

  • Knowledge of population management systems (e.g., eOMIS, ERMA, or similar platforms).

  • Has undergone a federal investigation at the level of Tier 2 or higher; has been granted favorable suitability/eligibility and has not had a break in service for more than 24 months.

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions

  • High-security detention facility with exposure to potentially volatile situations.

  • May involve rotating shifts, weekends, and on-call availability.
