  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including gastroenterologists, oncologists, radiologists, and primary care physicians, to coordinate comprehensive care.

Expert Colorectal Cancer Care Team

Highlighting our exceptional expertise and state of the art facilities, Northside Hospital maintains a fellowship program in colon and rectal surgery accredited by the ACGME. Our program exposes fellows to all facets of colorectal surgery including complex anorectal disease, minimally invasive surgery, inflammatory bowel disease, sphincter sparing cancer surgery and extensive endoscopy experience. The diverse case load and variety of operative techniques encountered through our program have equipped our graduates for satisfying careers in a variety of clinical settings including private practice, positions with major HMO providers, hospital employed positions and faculty at large universities and clinics. Georgia Colon & Rectal Surgical Associates utilizes the latest in surgical techniques including laparoscopic surgical technology and colonoscopies, to treat and care for diseases of the colon and rectum.
