What You'll Do as a PM Technician:

As a Heavy Equipment PM Technician, your primary responsibility is to inspect, service, and perform preventive maintenance on heavy and light construction equipment to ensure machines remain reliable and ready for operation.

Responsibilities include:

* Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on Caterpillar construction equipment
* Change engine oil, hydraulic fluids, filters, and other service components
* Inspect machines to determine maintenance needs and identify potential issues
* Lubricate equipment components and perform basic adjustments
* Conduct equipment inspections and complete service checklists
* Collect fluid samples and document service work accurately
* Communicate machine condition and repair recommendations to service teams
* Maintain a safe and organized work environment in compliance with company policies

Requirements:

* Must own proper tools to perform necessary maintenance services
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform equipment maintenance
* Ability to follow maintenance procedures and safety standards
* Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting ability
* Ability to lift heavy components and work in shop or field environments

Strongly Preferred Experience:

* Associate degree or technical certificate from a diesel or heavy equipment program
* Previous mechanic, technician, or military mechanical experience
* Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems
* Welding or fabrication experience
