Human Resources Compliance Administrator

Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Human Resources Compliance Administrator to join our HR Compliance & Immigration team. Our team works a 9x80 schedule at our Willow Creek facility in Idaho Falls, Idaho, with every other Friday off.

As part of our dynamic HR organization, you will explain personnel policies, procedures, and employee rights to employees and applicants; process and maintain documentation for accommodations and required leaves; and track Family and Medical Leave (FMLA) absences. Your work will ensure laboratory compliance with federal regulations while maintaining the confidentiality of personnel and benefits information that supports Idaho National Laboratory's mission.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized administrative support in area of focus.
• Prepare routine and specialized reports and respond to internal/external HR data requests (such as internal company reports, DOE reports, corporate reports, and HR self-assessment reports).
• Assist in creating and maintaining presentations and/or slides for HR-related functions.
• Coordinate with other departments as needed (e.g., Security, Talent Acquisition, etc.).
• Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions.
• Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.
• Process, verify, and maintain personnel-related documentation for employee leaves of absence.

• May provide assistance in administering employee benefit programs.

• May file personnel and employee benefit information in applicable systems.

• May prepare reports for employment records, file employment records, or search employee files and furnish information to authorized persons.

Required:

• Level 3: High school diploma or equivalent and 4 years of experience. Experience is defined as performing the job functions and responsibilities as described above, including clientfacing support, problem solving, resolution of inquiries, and work with dashboards, data systems, and documentation in a fastpaced environment.
• Level 4: High school diploma or equivalent and 6 years of experience. Experience must be commensurate with the level.

• Strong problemsolving abilities.
• Experience with HRIS or leavemanagement systems.
• Experience reviewing documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Proficient in Power BI, SharePoint, and the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience supporting ADA accommodation processes.
• Experience administering and tracking FMLA and state leave requests.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this classification, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, bend, and work in an office environment. The job requires hand/finger dexterity to keyboard or type, handle materials, manipulate tools, and reach with hands and arms. The job requires operation of office equipment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds with assistance. Sufficient visual acuity and hearing capacity to perform the essential functions and interact with the public is required. Job Information:

• The pay range for this position is: Level 3 ($22.93 - $37.82) / Level 4 ($26.36 - $43.48). At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
