Description and Requirements

Lenovo is seeking for an entry level Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) Specialist to join Lenovo HRIS Operations team in the US (Hybrid onsite in Morrisville, NC). We are looking for enthusiastic problem solvers who can apply their skills and constantly improve processes and systems, providing support across various regions. In this role you will learn how to administer and support Workday.

Job Description

  • Work collaboratively with HR Service Center agent and act as Tier 2 support on production issues for North America, Latin America and EMEA regions.
  • Provide resolutions or recommendations on production issues to meet Service Level Agreements.
  • Demonstrate exceptional organizational and analytical skills, close attention to detail, and strong problem solving skills to determine root causes of technical problems with the ability to document effectively, escalate appropriately, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to troubleshoot, research as necessary ensuring that users are updated on the status and addressing issues timely.
  • Create or maintain end user training documentation and train HR Service Center agents and users

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in HRIS, Information Systems, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Analytics, Human Resources (with systems or analytics focus), or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 0-2 years of experience supporting HR systems, enterprise applications, shared services, or technical operations (internships and coops accepted)
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to identify root causes and document solutions clearly
  • Experience working in a casebased or ticketing environment with attention to SLAs and user communication
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple issues concurrently
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and processes quickly with a positive, teamoriented mindset
  • Lenovo Corporate Office works on a 3:2 policy, 3 Days in the office and 2 flex per week. This role is seated at our corporate office located at 8001 Development Drive, Morrisville, NC 27560

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior exposure to Workday or another enterprise HR system (SAP, Oracle, ADP, UKG, SuccessFactors)
  • Foundational HR domain knowledge (employee lifecycle, data privacy, HR operations)
  • Experience creating or maintaining training documentation or knowledge base articles
  • Experience supporting users across multiple regions or time zones
