Description The client needs multiple OSP Field Inspectors for a huge West Texas Fiber Optic build. This role is responsible for validating construction quality, standards compliance, and safety for all assigned projects. The key responsibilities include the following: oOn-site inspection of trenching, plowing, boring, fiber placement, splicing, and restoration oValidate work against engineering drawings and Client construction standards oGlobal Positioning System (GPS) validation of fiber construction route progress oDocument work via photos, redlines, and daily field reports oTrack and verify material usage to include sequential for both conduit and fiber oMonitor GC / vendor safety practices oIdentify and track defects, variances, or rework requirements and include in the daily field reports oTrack and notify Client of any property or other facility damages Skills Telecommunication, Fiber optic, Osp, Telecommunications construction, Underground cable, Underground construction, Blueprint, Inspection, Installation, Technical writing, computer operation, Excel, Sitetracker Top Skills Details Telecommunication,Fiber optic,Osp,Telecommunications construction,Underground cable,Underground construction,Blueprint,Inspection,Installation Additional Skills & Qualifications Conduct field inspections, verify construction against plans and standards, document as-built conditions, and work closely with contractors, utilities, and internal engineering teams to resolve issues in real time. Ideal candidates have hands-on telecom construction experience, strong knowledge of OSP standards (NESC/NEC), utility permitting, and a sharp eye for quality and safety.
