Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Briggs, TX. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Machine high-quality parts
  • Read and follow technical drawings and diagrammed instructions
  • Inspect and document one's own manufactured parts
  • Perform machine set-ups for part manufacturing
  • Perform edits as needed
  • Abide by all safety standards
  • Report any safety or maintenance concerns to management immediately
  • Keep all work areas clean and organized
  • Hold oneself to a high standard of quality, taking pride in one's work.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a CNC Machinist
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Mazak experience
  • 4 and 5-axis machine experience
  • Mill/Turn experience
  • DMG Mori experience
  • Okuma experience
  • VTL experience
  • Passion to build Spacecraft and Rocket components.
  • Positive attitude, reliable, and a team player
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal
  • Good math skills
  • Solid computer skills.

Additional Information :

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. Be able to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Be available to work 1st or 2nd shifts, & overtime as needed
  • Able to perform physically demanding work-standing, bending, lifting 25 lbs. regularly
