Project Analyst Fairfax, VA Pay From: $80,000 per year MUST: Experienced Project Analyst 5+ years of experience in project support roles ideally in a GovCon environment Experience tracking milestones and project deliverables Understanding basic project management skills Experience managing multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Proficiency with project scheduling and tracking tools such as Microsoft Project and Excel. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess schedule and cost performance, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex program data clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. High level of organizational discipline and attention to detail in managing schedules, milestones, and dependencies. Bachelors Degree required DUTIES: Creating detailed project plans, defining project scope, setting timelines, and establishing milestones to guide the project from inception to completion. Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from various sources to produce actionable insights. Preparing regular progress reports, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and financial summaries to update stakeholders. Identifying potential project risks, such as scope creep or vendor delays, and developing contingency plans to mitigate impact. Acting as a liaison between project teams, management, and clients to ensure alignment on goals and expectations. Monitoring project expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and evaluating resource allocation for efficiency.
