This is a full-time, Field Tech 1 position located in Peoria, IL, Monday - Thursday, from 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Compensation:$17.00 per hour The salary for this position reflects a variety of factors. Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's geographic location, relevant experience, education, skills, and alignment with internal equity. Find Your Place at Pace Join us as a Field Technician I, where you'll support the collection, processing, and maintenance of environmental samples across air, soil, water, and related areas. You'll receive comprehensive training to help you succeed and grow within our environmental field services team. What You'll Do * Perform field services including sample collection, condition review, test kit completion, and accurate documentation of results. What You'll Bring * High school diploma or equivalent; one year of experience in a lab or environmental setting preferred, but not required. PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Mobility to safely operate a motor vehicle and exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects; vision to read printed materials and computer screens; and hearing and speech to communicate in person or over the telephone.
