Finance Analyst - JLL

Location: Palisades NY-348 Route 9W (3/4 days a week)

What this job involves:

As a Finance Analyst, you will be a key member of our finance team, playing a vital role in the financial operations and success of a project management organization. You will support the Finance Manager by taking ownership of critical financial functions, including reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. In this role, you'll act as a strategic financial partner, collaborating directly with clients and internal stakeholders while driving process improvements that enhance operational efficiency. What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of all monthly results, expenses, and accruals in both client and JLL financial systems, maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity
  • Prepare and manage the end-to-end client invoicing process, including all supporting documentation, while continually identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains
  • Oversee and monitor project budgets and financials, maintaining precise data related to project schedules, costs, and performance indicators in integrated IT systems
  • Act as a key financial liaison for the client, building a strong collaborative partnership and responding effectively to financial queries and information requests
  • Coordinate communications with all project stakeholders regarding financial status and progress, providing expert financial advice and support to local Facilities Managers
  • Support the development and implementation of new client reporting tools and monitor compliance with financial policies and procedures across the project portfolio
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities that contribute to informed decision-making and strategic planning

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of finance experience in a similar role
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with demonstrated ability to create complex financial models, pivot tables, and analytical reports
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record of managing tight deadlines and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all financial reporting and documentation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in commercial real estate, property management, or project management environments
  • Familiarity with financial management systems and integrated IT platforms used for project tracking and reporting
  • Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
  • Understanding of client invoicing processes and revenue recognition principles
  • Knowledge of financial compliance frameworks and internal control procedures
  • Demonstrated proactive problem-solving abilities with examples of process improvements implemented in previous roles
  • Professional certifications or progress toward CPA, CMA, or similar finance credentials

Estimated compensation for this position:

64,000.00 - 70,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
