What to Expect We are seeking a skilled Business Operations Associate to join our Energy Products Team at Tesla, focusing on Virtual Power Plant (VPP) programs. Tesla has rapidly expanded our VPP footprint in North America, reaching more than 250,000 batteries in aggregation across more than 20 states, territories, and countries. This role involves managing and improving back-end workflows that keep the business of providing grid services running. Collaboration with internal teams such as business development, finance, data science & analytics, engineering, and support will be essential to drive initiatives and scale the business. What You'll Do Manage contract invoicing pipeline for all active programs Generate operational reports & alerts to enable business efficiency and efficacy Support VPP business day-to-day operations Evaluate andmaintainteam P&L in support of broader company KPIs Develop and implement templates for business workflows and communications Assistin the maintenance of centralized business data and generate regular reports for strategic decision-making Manage program-level processes for grid services settlement and compensation What You'll Bring Degree inBusiness,Finance,Engineering, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience 1-3 years experience in demand response or managed charging programs and their administration (as an aggregator, DERMS, OEM, etc.) Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a lean, fast-paced setting Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with diverse stakeholders, including business development, operations, and finance Proficiencyin data analytics andvisualizationtools like SQL,Excel, Tableau, or other reporting software
