Mechanical Engineer Location:Florence, SC Job ID: #72270 Pay Range: $40-44 Must Have BS Degree in mechanical engineering degree Creo (CAD Software) Microsoft Office Sound mechanical engineering background (mechanical and system modeling and design, component modeling and design) Strong communications and leadership ability Nice To Have Mechanical Structural Analysis with Ansys or other FEA software JOB DESCRIPTION Summary:This position is for a mechanical engineer to provide design and support for the Gen3 products.The position will play a crucial role in maintaining product integrity,evaluating opportunities, and integrating new component designs into existing systems,while working to meet agreed upon cost, reliability,and schedule commitments. Job Responsibilities: * Typical responsibilities include structural analysis, design, implementation, and testing of a wide range of elevator components.The candidate should have a strong mechanical engineering background with experience working in a cross functional team environment. Skills: Sound mechanical engineering background (mechanical and system modeling and design, component modeling and design) Creo / Pro Engineer Mechanical structural analysis with Ansys or other FEA Software Design documentation with Mathcad Hands-on testing experience Strong communications and leadership ability Experience with test and measurement equipment Elevator systems knowledge preferred but not required Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software Benefits provided:401K,medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is an equal opportunity employer.
