Salary: $150,000-200,000 plus equity

Our client is building a next-generation wealth platform that uses technology to deliver smarter, faster, and more accessible financial guidance. The team combines deep financial expertise with a forward-thinking approach to reshape how individuals manage their money.

We're looking for an experienced Tax Planning Specialist to join their team and play a key role in delivering high-quality, strategic tax guidance to clients.

What You'll Do
You'll partner closely with financial planners and work directly on client tax strategies, projections, and compliance.

Core responsibilities include:
  • Build and maintain detailed tax projections and liability forecasts
  • Run scenario analyses to guide client financial decisions
  • Advise on withholding adjustments and quarterly estimated payments
  • Develop and execute tax-efficient strategies across a range of client situations
  • Review individual tax returns for accuracy and compliance
  • Oversee filing and support audit responses when needed
  • Maintain documentation and improve tax processes over time

Areas of Focus
You'll provide planning support across:
  • Retirement and tax-advantaged accounts
  • Equity compensation (RSUs, ISOs, NSOs)
  • Real estate and 1031 exchanges
  • State and local tax (SALT) strategy
  • International tax considerations
  • Estate and gift planning
  • Charitable giving and education savings strategies

What We're Looking For
  • CPA or EA designation required
  • 7+ years of experience in individual tax planning and review
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. tax regulations across multiple domains
  • Comfortable using tax and financial planning software
  • Clear communicator who can translate complex tax topics into actionable guidance
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Collaborative and adaptable in a fast-paced environment

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
